These Are a Few of My Favorite Things

The other night as I was putting Bridget to sleep, I decided to sing "Raindrops on Roses" to her. Although I have sung that song many a time, the lyrics really stood out to me that night and I couldn't help but think of a few of my own favorite things about this summer:

First of all, there's going for walks.  We go for a walk just about every night after McKay gets off of work.  Bridget gets to ride on his shoulders and she has a wonderful time!

She'll be able to walk right along beside us here soon!

Then there's playing at the reservoir.  We recently discovered that there is a reservoir behind the new aquatic center and we have had a lot of fun going up there ever since.

 

I also love to hear Bridget laugh.  

Watching Bridget's face as she tries new foods is another one of my favorite things.  Right now peas are her favorite and carrots are her least favorite. Her evil daddy thought it would be a fun idea to let her lick a lime . . .

(I'm pretty sure I make the same face when I eat limes too)

And last but not least, there's visiting with family - Love you all!
